<p>Internet marketing will provide plenty of setbacks but they pale into insignificance when compared to the successes. If you think the gurus never experience any problems think again. In actual fact, they will have more problems than you’ll ever know about.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s amazing but as soon as you think you&#8217;re on top of things, something comes out of left field to unsettle you or drag you back into the mire.</p>
<p>How To Handle Setbacks</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s what happened to me recently. I had my main Digg account suspended. My actual page had built to a page rank of three. I had built up a list of hundreds of friends and was becoming an authority in this particular niche. In fact, rarely did I digg something that didn&#8217;t receive at least half a dozen comments. Then, with the push of a button, it was gone!</p>
<p>Now a year ago I would have probably admitted myself for psychiatric attention because it would have been devastating. My reaction was &#8220;oh well, it was nice while it lasted but I&#8217;ll just open up another account.&#8221; The point I&#8217;m trying to make is when obstacles are thrown in our path, they will either defeat you or strengthen your resolve.</p>

<p>I would have tried to analyze the situation&#8230;I didn&#8217;t even bother to contact their support to try and get an explanation. Digg is not my business.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s just a tool I use to help build and promote and it doesn&#8217;t take long to get back on the horse and start again.</p>
<p>This is what a steely resolve is all about. Forget over-analyzing and just push through any hiccup you encounter. And when social media sites are concerned, don&#8217;t let an account suspension unsettle you and throw you off course.</p>
<p>They are free which means they are dispensable and each time you have an account closed, learn something from it which is usually how far you can push the limits.</p>
